Our equipment for rent

INFORMATION NOTICE - GUARANTEES

The equipment is deemed to be in good condition and suitable for normal use. The customer is the sole judge of their ability to use this equipment. The rented equipment is the responsibility of the customer as soon as they take possession of it. They must take care of the equipment and ensure it is used normally for leisure activities. The equipment is rented exclusively for the customer's use and cannot, under any circumstances, be lent, sublet, or entrusted to a third party.

RESPONSIBILITY - WARRANTY

Subject to the execution of the obligations arising from the contract, the customer benefits from the following provisions, except in cases of fraud:

1) Unless the customer has subscribed to the "waiver of recourse" warranty as provided in paragraph 2) below, the customer does not benefit from any coverage for any damages incurred by the rented item and personally incurs liability for said damages, regardless of the cause. However, the customer cannot be held responsible for the harmful consequences of hidden defects in the rented equipment or of wear that is not apparent and inappropriate for the intended use, as long as proof of such defects or wear can be provided by the customer.

2) "Breakage" Warranty: the customer may subscribe online or upon taking possession of the equipment to a warranty payable in advance and billed according to the terms displayed in the store. In this case, the renter will waive any recourse against the customer and will cover, within the framework of normal use, all repair or replacement costs after deducting the deductible. The payment of this deductible is in addition to the payment for the rental days used.

In case of breakage: return the damaged equipment to Ski Top and it must be recognizable and complete.

3) Loss and disappearance of the equipment are not covered. In such cases, the equipment will be billed to the customer based on the retail price including tax, less a wear percentage of 15% per year.

4) In case of theft by the customer, misappropriation, or any damage to the equipment resulting from non-compliance with usage rules or prevailing regulations, or the terms and conditions of this contract, Ski Top is entitled to seek recourse for the full extent of the damage. Show less

With the multi-sport package, you can exchange your equipment for another item of equal or lower category (skis for snowboard, for example). This exchange can be made a maximum of once during your stay. Exchange subject to equipment availability in the store. Show less

The Storage Service allows you to leave your skis and shoes every day. The shop is open from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM, so you will have access throughout the day. Upon your arrival, we will explain how it works: you will be autonomous to take and drop off your equipment. If you are in a large group, we will ask you to operate in smaller groups in order not to disrupt the shop's operations. This service has been offered for a long time and works very well, and it’s also a great opportunity to get to know our customers better! Show less
